Playing around with some new goodies.

I've always wanted to use the Dear Lizzy papers but never had the chance. So last night, I made sure that I'll use it no matter what.

My new stamps set came, I ADORE dressforms! I want more and more.

Isnt it gorgeous??

And can you tell I absolutely love kraft paper? I use them for everything. How boring is that?

I made a card on Saturday afternoon.

Was having quite a bad day and decided to make something bright and happy...

I somehow don't like how this card turned out, so I'm gonna tweak it before I show you...(=

Scrap-it-lah June Challenge

I gotta admit, this is by far my Favorite Challenge......using only white or cream.

It was perfect to scrap about my 'self designed gown'....I didnt sew the dress myself (credits to Richard Rivalli) but I did come up with the design. I'm a sucker for classic designs, timeless pieces...mostly in love with 50s, 60s & 70s style.

So presenting my June challenge...

Most of the embellishments used on this LO was on my dress too.

I ran out of 'E' thickers and used prima alphas...and because it was smaller, i punched out a heart and stickled it. I think it looks pretty cute.

Thanks to Josie, I have this beautiful punched out butterfly.

'Perfect Dress'

I thought it was a little too plain, so I stamped some swirls in white.

I so loved how the tone on tone effect turned out.

A very simple LO but a very meaningful one to me. (=

Card on a friday night??

Honestly I was inspired.

This card took me like 30 mins to put together. The idea came when I was stuck in an hours jam, going home. Perhaps an idea book in the future might help??

I realized that I have very few sentiments stamps. So please bear with me. (=

Materials used: Sassafrass pattern paper, Inkadinkado stamps, Prima flower & Moof brads.

I find that the design is so straight forward....nothing much to shout about. Anyways I used my new border punch...YEAY! it is not an new punch, but I love love Fiskars. Next I'll be getting apron lace, it is sold out in Smidapaper. Anybody know where I can get it?

That cupcake stamp from Inkadinkadoo is so cute....comes with different toppings but I chose the heart. I messed up on the 'Hello'...it didnt stamp so well, so I used sharpie to outline.

To me the imperfectness makes the card handmade...(=

Decided to add a punched butterfly for some added interest.
