A non PL related post.

hahahhaa....what a funny header to blog.

But its true, finally a non PL related post. Poor blog has been neglected all because of my busy schedule.

Leading a dance team, choreographing, teaching is challenging but yet rewarding at the same time. Its pure joy to totally embrace my passion & calling. There is something so freeing about dancing, it expresses from deep within, speaking from one's soul....man that is powerful. Thank you God for this beautiful gift.

So back to my daily life. I try to cook every now & then.....the Mr. loves home cooked, even if its a simple dish. So made this soba dish last night.
Took the recipe from here: http://www.abeautifulmess.com/2013/10/sweet-and-spicy-soba-noodles.html
Plus a simple clear soup to accompany the soba. :)

An early birthday gift from mom. Yes she signed me up as a member too... LOL. She loves good shoes, handbags and facial products....oh what a cute mom I have.

I guess I'll continue blogging what my Sunday looks like...
We went for a quick lunch @ Bangkok Lane, then it was to paragon...

 Latte Break @ Coffee Elements.

Really yummy Caramel Latte. The cake tasted terrible though, but would definitely go back for the Latte's. :)
Bump into this little cutie in H&M, those eyes....so mesmerizing. Abby was really friendly with Aunty Sharon, I love kids who responds to people...just makes them more adorable, dont you think?

We dropped by church after Tea, our friends were painting/preparing proclamation banners for the Closing of the Year of faith. Can you tell its gorgeous? 100% handmade & hand painted. Love!

I guess thats all from me now. I shall attempt to blog more non PL related stuff. :) I have missed you blogging world.

Back with Week 34 & 35

Hello Peeps,

Sorry for the MIA, everything has been back to back.

Life is tough isn't it? Every decision we make has consequences.
So many things running in my mind right now, so many decisions to make, so many consequences to face. God, what should I do?

Many a times I just want to run and hide, run into that hiding place where only God can find me.

Anyways I'm glad that PL reminds me of the little things around my life, the little joys that money cannot buy nor time that cannot move its way back, but only to savor the moment and memories.

Here is week 34:

Week 35:
Bubble tea + Celebrated Malaysia's independence day.

I am definitely so proud of being a Penang-nite and I know that Malaysia will soon follow suit to your footsteps of change. :)

Thats all from me now. Have a blessed Mid-week peeps. :)

Week 32 is probably my most favorite page. Loving the pastel tones and those amazing stamps by Studio Calico. I'm in love, hooray for pastels.

Week 32 was an awesome long week...Raya Hols. To top it off my team was given an unofficial 1/2 day on the eve of Raya and of coz I had to pay H&M a visit, it was their grand opening in Penang. Hooray!

Week 33: Just another simple Peach/orange tone. :)

Have a great week friends.

Week 30 & 31

Here we go.

Week 30, a fun weekend. :)

Project Life week 29

Hello Hello crafty friends,

Apologize for the long MIA...been busy.

Anyways I've almost caught up with PL. Here is week 29's spread. :)

For this spread I used typewriter for my journalling. I realize that I make a lot of grammar mistakes coz I'm typing with one hand and another holding the card, I find it kinda stressful, and as you can tell the text is like a wave. hahahaha... Any tips? And thanks to Josie, I have Jade Collection's cute card. YAY!!

Spread 2:
Just some random products for this page. So there. I'm still so in love with PL-ing and it has been a joy to flip thru my album (YES, I have a proper album now and its not secured by ring-binders!!Hooray!!!) and see how fast time has gone by.

I'll be back for week 30 & 31!! :)

Blessed Long weekend!!! God Bless Malaysia!

Hello Friends.

Am back with a 2 page spread for PL week 27. Hooray!

Tried a new technique on my spread and Im kinda diggin it. :)

Spread 1: It may not be the perfect photo for a huge cut up but I kinda like how it gives variety to my spread. Trying to print smaller photos so I can journal more. :)

Spread 2: Simple and straight to the point, very minimal embellishments.

It was all about cameras, photography and Food!! We had 3 very enthusiast photogs in the house. it was fun!

Chipboard this time around...

Hello Peeps. How are you crafters doing?

It was a public holiday for us folks in Penang & it was lovely. Always happy to get a day off on Mondays. :)

So I spent my weekend in KL, visiting my family and some shopping time. Arrived back at home at 8pm last night and decided to make a card...mixing oldies with newbies.

Used Maya road chipboards which I hoarded quite a fair bit. Ink them with Pink Petunia & Sage green, kinda loving the soft tones...and of coz more of Maggie Holmes sticker & ephemera pack. The flower was given by Jessy Christopher. Thx sweetie!

Please excuse the messy background. ;)

Adding some washi tapes. The rainbow tape is from cardpuccino and the rest is from Typo, got it in the sale bin, RM10 for both. A steal!

PL sneak for Week 27, still a WIP state.

Quite a lazy Tuesday for me, dreaming of quitting my day job. Oh well, have a great week my dear friends.

Becoming Proverbs 31 girls

Hello Friends,

What can I say, these beautiful girls are allowing me to journey with them, down the beautiful path of discipleship. Its not an easy road but I know it please my God, and He will give us strength for this journey.

Cheers to you beautiful girls. :)

Award for the most taken pictures in Week 23

Hello friends,

The busiest week in 2013, as of now. :)

Week 23 Spread 1:
Getting ready, flying, adjusting, arrived & rehearsals.

Spread 2:
Memorable dance pictures.

Spread 3:
Ministering in Children Conference, back-up singing, worship leading & more dancing...

Spread 4:
More dancing at Kuching's Amphiteather, over 5,000 people showed up in the rain. Truly a great experience.

Spread 5:
Aha, dancing in the rain alright. It was a super fun night, lifting the name of Jesus with passionate people.

Spread 6:
The end of an awesome week. So glad to have experience such a blessed celebration. Empowered you are blessed and beyond, and it was an honor to dance at your 10th anniversary.

Super memorable week, putting my faith on the line and allowing Him to take control.
Closed a repeated cycle in my life, yes I passed the test.
Pushed to do things that I'm not comfortable, but yet there comes a season in your life when we have to rise above our feelings and negative mindsets of 'I cannot do it'.
Learn to depend on God when you have ppl who bad mouth you on the same vicinity, an example of having thorns on our side but yet make the decision to Rise above that, keep my eyes fixed & bless them. (easier said than done.)
Learned to handle new situations, asserted correction with love, not easy as well, it can be heart breaking to speak the truth. Correction comes with a price, but it is rewarding when the seed is planted..
I am so proud of Penang, so proud of SWYF and definitely so proud of my Kingdom Dancers. You paid the price to set the path for the youths, Thank you, thank you & I love each one of you.

No joke, a total of 85 photos documented for week 23. Now that's a record breaker. *winks*

Oh if you can tell, this spread is missing a no.5...hahaha, no idea where it went to.

Project Life Updates...like finally! Week 21 & Week 22

Greetings my dearest Friends.

So so happy to finally complete documenting 2 weeks of love. I've decided to work my way backwards, just because I can remember it more clearly. Although I'm playing catch up, am still loving PL and cannot help but feel blessed. :)

Week 21: Busy week preparing for ER2013, Thank goodness for having a couple of public holidays in between this hectic schedule, which I took the time to chill with my dearest Aaron, just spending some quality time.

Week 22: The final week of ER2013 preparations, getting things ready and packing for Kuching. Packing for a holiday trip versus a 'get involved' conference is totally different. We have to literally have a plan on what to wear, that includes packing dance attires & accessories that goes with it. Well it can get a little overwhelming. :)

Some close ups of pretty fillers making my life easier. I believe they are from Simple Stories. Love them.

And a little sneak of Week 23, winner of the most documented spread, 6 pages. hahahah, seriously, no joke. But it was my pleasure to document every single detail of my experience. A well cherished moment.

I love this glitter thickers by Amy Tan so much, Im planing to hoard them. Do you feel the same?? *winks*

Thats all from me now. Really hope to update soon. :)
