Workspace Wednesday - A simple Layout

Drum Roll pls..........

Introducing my first layout of 2017. I had accidentally printed out an extra copy of this photo and thought why not create a layout.

So yay. Happy accident. :) I used both My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper for the embellishments.

Loving the gold accents.

A little bit of sewing with gold thread. Its a fun way to spice it up.

Finished the layout with a chipboard accent and a date stamp. I'm second guessing the date, its either Dec or Jan....hmmmm. Oh well.... LOL.

Its OCTOBER YAY!

September has been a cray busy month for me, so glad its over but its almost year end. Arghhh, time is flying by too fast.

Project Life (First week of July)

Actually the above is the first insert for July spread. I must of gotten too excited that I blogged about the third spread instead of these two. LOL.

I am still subscribed to Studio Calico's monthly documenter kit, which is why I'm so so happy to be using them again. YAY!

So the spreads are pretty much self explanatory, will be using becky higgins date stamp on most of my spread ( I can only use it up to Dec 2016, kinda bump about that)



Really happy to document the time my aunty and her family spent in Penang. Raul turned 12 on 7th July and he wanted to celebrate it in Penang, oh not forgetting it was also Raya Holidays. Had a really good time with them. *cheers* 

Project Life 2016

Hello Hello,

I am technically restarting project life in July. Hooray. Trying really hard to catch up on documenting my second half of 2016. I love looking back at the memories made throughout the year. It certainly keeps me in check and helps me to be grateful. 

Although I really wanted to document in the 9" album, I just couldn't justify the need to purchase anything new. Since I already had the page protectors and album, all I needed to do was to fill them up. 

My goal is to keep it simple and if possible spend 45 mins a week on it. Lets see how that goes, I may have completed printing out all the photos for July. YAY to that.

Workspace Wednesday

Reorganising my frequently used sequins box, these are the ones I go for most of the time. It fits perfectly in my drawer and stays neatly organised. Although I've already maxed out the entire box, I would probably need to get another one. I bought the box from Daiso, very affordable and good quality. Yay, indeed a good score!

So while my instagram looks really neat and nicely organised, the photo below is usually the condition of my desk. LOL. Aha a whole lot of mess.

Workspace Wednesday // Washi Tapes

Featuring my washi tape collection. I think I have enough to last me a lifetime....oh dang. 

Have you finished a roll of washi tape before? I certainly have not. LOL. I believe strongly that most crafters are hoarders too, we just like the idea of having something even when we don't need it. Bad, Bad.

Monochromatic Love

So satisfied and happy with the above minimalist and monochromatic cards.

At first I thought it was way too simple and lacking some embellishments. When I completed the cards it was pass midnight, so I thought I'll sleep over it. This morning when I saw the cards again, I just loved it and decided to keep it as it is. I'm a happy girl.

Today I will be featuring some handmade mini envelopes which I've added to my Etsy shop. They come in very cute designs and colors. 

They measure 4.2"x 3.1", perfect for a 3x4 card. It also comes with a blank card in each envelope.

Keeping it simple is my kinda eye candy at the moment. They call it the minimalist approach. :)

Today has been a good day for me. A day of researching and planing out future actions for my career path. I won't be revealing too much and its still in consideration stage but whatever the outcome, I know that my 2016 will end with a BAM! I am hopeful God is on my side and He will give me the wisdom to carry out my plans.

Hello Hello

Currently working on a custom made guest book. Makes me happy to see pretty embellishments on my desk again.

I need to start making Layouts again or even attempting the 2nd half of Project Life. Yikes! Help! 



Very often, my desk gets cleaned before I start on any projects or orders, but then it only takes 5 minutes to look like a creative hurricane came and went. LOL! In general are crafters messy people? hahah. Hard to tell. *winks*

Workspace Wednesday

Hello. I'm back.

My house is literally in a mess, rearranging and changing some things around. Its hard work but i love the results. Life is busy as a home maker, but my heart is filled with unexplainable joy. *big smiles*

I'm proud to say that my office/craft space is probably the cleanest at this point. 

Today on my desk is this lovely stamp I won in a Instagram giveaway by Kellie Stamps. YAY! Thank you Kellie, really appreciate this win. It really stamps like butter and leaves a crisp image. If you haven't gotten her stamps, you gotta get some. Seriously, no regrets. :)

Sunlight creates a whole lot of difference to the photo. The first one was taken in the morning, and the photo below was taken last evening before 6pm.

Alrighty peeps, I'm off to prepare dinner (or in some places supper?) for the Mr. I sure hope I can have the time to craft or start a December daily album? *winks*

Workspace Thursday?

Hello Friends.

Today I will show you a few sneaks on my workspace. I have been working on some scrapbook layouts, a few PL spreads and also some birthday cards.

I wouldn't say that November is an overly busy month, but still our schedule is pretty pack. I cant wait to fill you in on the big change that is happening end of November, only 2 more weeks. Hooray!

So here, we have a journalling tag, added that into my LO.

And a sneak peek. Simple is my middle name as of 2014. I've been digging muted pastel colors, a lot of white space with sprinkles of embellishments. Seriously my style has evolved. *big smile*

I am totally loving that rub-ons are making a come back. They were my first love to scrapbook embellishments. YAY!

Workspace Wednesday & some random stories.

Hello Friends.

Its midweek....and I'm terribly sleepy.

So I have decided to blog about my random craving last night. Mind you, it was after dinner that I felt like having a hot bowl of 'Bah Kut Teh', seriously, no hunger pangs, just pure hormones kicking in....I suppose. Haha.

Aaron was really so sweet to drive me to town to get some errands done & after which, he took me to have my hot soup. Yay! It was so so yummy and satisfying.....i hope this will not be repeated again, supper is really bad.

If you are living in Penang, try the BKT in 'Green House, burmah Road' So delicious. :)

Midweek is here. Second day of July. :)

Today I am featuring my cute flower palate for my wood veneer embellishment. Not too sure if its practical coz, as you can tell, I've ran out of space.

But for the time being im happy with its cuteness....especially the sequin palate. *winks*

Yes, welcome to my super messy workspace wednesday. Truth is I cleaned up after this photo was taken...hahaha, eye sore I guess.

I'm pretty sure some of my embellishments are missing or stashed somewhere else where I've forgotten.....that usually happens after a long crafting break. haha. Anyways I have new goodies coming in YAY! Thx to Josie who purchased it for us. :)

Blueberry coco crunch anyone? I've been eating blueberries with everything, trying to finish it before it expires. *hehe* cheers, its a double posting kinda day.

Oh Wow, I've not blogged for more than a month. Yes I have been busy busy...

But am now back, and slowly getting back on PL.

Here's my super simple week14. So glad I got the ball rolling again.

Loving this pocket, I really didnt feel like journaling...and I had all this space, so happy that a large chipboard & some stamping did the trick. LOL.
