Workspace Wednesday - A simple Layout

Drum Roll pls..........

Introducing my first layout of 2017. I had accidentally printed out an extra copy of this photo and thought why not create a layout.

So yay. Happy accident. :) I used both My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper for the embellishments.

Loving the gold accents.

A little bit of sewing with gold thread. Its a fun way to spice it up.

Finished the layout with a chipboard accent and a date stamp. I'm second guessing the date, its either Dec or Jan....hmmmm. Oh well.... LOL.

Whats on your desk today? :)

Satisfied.

It really has been a while since I made a layout. That satisfaction is amazing. I was really itching to create a LO and also to get back on Project Life.

Just a really simple LO, using some hexagon shapes as my background. Used some chipboard embellishments from Studio Calico, for a bit more added interest, I punched out tiny daisies in black.

And thats it. Simple and to the point. Keep em coming creative juices, YAY!

Happy Days are here!

Hello Friends,

Yes I just came back from a short hiatus. Was wrapping up the bits and pieces before i step into a new chapter in my life.

My dream of becoming a home maker is finally here, after fervently praying for 6 years, the time is now. My last service date in Motorola was 28th November.

The last two months have been a bitter sweet experience, saying goodbye to my daily routine of 10 years and redefining a new one.

I was excited yet a little anxious about the future. It is quite daunting to move to a single salary income. None the less, I'm so blessed to have Aaron so supportive in this matter, it makes him so happy to know that I'm happy. All Glory to God for a godly man. *smiles*

So its been a week in this new journey of a home maker. How has it been? I've never been busier but I oh so love it. God is so so good. He is faithful and seriously His timing is the best, no strive because He has planned everything smoothly, my job was to only take that step of Faith & never looking back.

Hello New season. You will be awesome!

Truly He makes ALL things new.

Enjoy this simple LO I created.

and, and I couldn't really blog coz I had to return my work laptop. We have been waiting for this customised beauty to arrive and it came this morning. YAY! Big big smile on my face. Thank you God. Oh yes and I'm blogging from my new iMac. *winks* I love it!

Cheers friends. Its the 8th day of Advent already, time you are moving too fast.
I hope to be back tomorrow :)

HUGSSS

.......big hug to all of you.

Am doing the happy dance coz I'll be leaving tonight for a beach hols. wooohooo!

Created this LO last week, inspired by Magda's. It was truly a simple LO but I had a ton of fun playing with the embellishments.

Oh yes and it was my first time crafting on a 8X10 layout.

Love the feather stitching!

Cute flower accents from Pink Paislee.

I had some old MME chipboard accents & the aqua just blended into the layout. Really happy to finish using my older stash. Yay!

Thats all from me now. I shall be on hiatus from the blogging world till next week....but I will be updating my trip on insta. :)

Tata & Blessings!

Fruitful Monday evening

Was truly happy to get the night off, choir practice cancelled....so this busy girl had a bit of time to herself.

So its goodbye to June & Hello July. 2nd half of the year friends, that's crazy! No kidding, christmas is coming soon. Insane!

So lately I've discovered that it is possible for me to have Pasta 2-3 nights a week. Home made that is. I usually do not have a particular recipe, more like I check out whats in my fridge & just whip up something. MY fridge is kinda empty at the moment, I found one carrot, thats all. haha. So decided to try that with some sausages. Turned out pretty yummy.

I realized that I've not been creating much LO, up to date only 3. Found this photo which I printed of my friends months ago and decided to use it. Due to lack of supplies, I wanted to keep everything simple. There is something catchy with the minimalist approach, so no complains of limited embellishments.

Vohla, Titled my LO 'Lifetime Jewels'. Simple and to the point. Completed this in 1.5 hrs. Not too bad right?

Added some stitching. I love doing that.

Flair button that says it all.

Yay! So glad I made this LO. Gotta keep my creative muscle moving.

And as we begin the month of July, May you have a fantastic fruitful month.

*hugss*

Tadaaa!!!

Good morning lovely peeps!

Yay. Like finally one layout. My 2nd LO for the year....how lame right.

It almost feels like I've forgotten how to create one, this took me 2 nights to complete. Totally loving this beautiful paper from Dear Lizzy. Simple LO with hidden journalling. :)

Gold rub-ons from crate paper. Super love!

Some stitching. Messy on purpose. hahaha.

Photo corner from switch board collection.

Attached a wood veneer to the tag pull out. Kinda cute eh?

I think this is my favorite embellishment on this page. So hipster & cute!

So happy with this LO. Means a lot. This season, am reaping the seeds of obedience. Amazing!

Have a great week.

Project Life Week 3

Hello Crafty Peeps.

Am back from being too lazy to blog. *winks*

Finally cleaned my table to prevent my brains from having a creative block. :)

Apologize for the non flattering pictures, darn the glare.

Anyways here is week 3 Spread 1: I only documented my Grandpa's bday this week. I was so thrilled that Grandpa turns 87, he is such a blessing to all of us.
At 87:
he drives (quite a hardcore driver at times haha),
he shops (yes he loves the mall, hi5 grandpa!),
he's a prayer group leader,
he jokes,
he's so alert,
he loves my Grandma's cooking,
he feeds the stray cats & wild birds outside his house (almost like a mini zoo)
he's a big fan of Jesus. (YAY! :) )

Such a blessing to have this Man of God as my grandpa. I pray that you will have many many many more years on this earth.

Week 3 spread 2: More photos...

Finally used my Heidi swap 'Family' stamp. The size is just perfect!

And and ...I created a LO. I love how personalized this LO is, but yet safe enough to share with others. Please ignore the paint splatters, i totally got carried away. hahaha.

2014, I believe you will be an awesome year.
I believe you will be a victorious year.

Thats all from me on this Tuesday. Have a great week ahead.

xoxo

Another year of Project Life, a fresh start.

Oh wow, a 3 months hiatus from my previous post....yikes.

Anyways I'm back!! I have decided to Project life for 2014 again, with much encouragement from Aaron, seriously he is like my biggest supporter to document our weekly progress. I know, I know so blessed right? *smiles*

Just a few days ago, I flipped thru my 2013 PL album, showing a friend how the year went by, she was amazed at how time flies. I must say 2013 was a beautiful year, truly a year of Faith... I know it sounds strange, but I didn't quite want 2013 to end.

Can we all agree that relationships are fragile? Actions, reactions not thought out properly can lead to serious damage, its like wreaking a beautiful garden. What took years or months to build can be damaged in a twinkle of an eye. More often that not these gardens will not look the same anymore. (Sad aint it)

Speaking the truth always has a price to pay, that includes with the possibility of putting yourself on the line to be snubbed. Now, that is one risk I know many will not take. But I'm wired differently, black is black & white is white, to me grey lines are blurred lines

One of my favorite Speaker & writer, Bill Hybels wrote "Being someone's spiritual brother or sister also means warning them of potential pitfalls in their lives - sometimes even before they themselves see trouble on the horizon." One of the biggest deception I've heard is, "people need to fall to experience it"
I say its complete Bullshit (pardon my language). I believe God has place people in our lives to learn from, not to make the same mistakes so that we can advance in life and Not to be trap in the same cycle. Very skewed mentality.

Today I tweeted a quote from my other favorite Speaker, Lisa Bevere. "I'd rather speak & be labelled judgmental by others than remain silent & be judged a goat by God. Faith, hope, love & Righteousness have a voice." I love this woman, so true isn't it? hahahhaa. The word 'judging' is so wrongly use, the minute we say

"You are judging me!", you are also judging the person whom you referred to as judging you. Now isn't that ironic? Its like the pot calling the kettle black kinda situation. LOL...

Fuyoh, sounds like my post is getting darn serious. I'm just sharing some of my thoughts....oooo how I've missed blogging. :)

In essence, good relationships or friendships are hard to come by, Feel good friends do not stay very long...genuine friends who will cry, go thru fire with you & be completely truthful are worth keeping. Cherish them k?! :)

Moving on, Im proud to say 2014 title page is completed. YAY!!

Aha, a very simple page - completely fuss free. Midnight collection on my first page. *happy girl*, and just a simple mobile photo.

....and jeng jeng jeng, my first LO for 2014. Ever since Aaron started being behind the lens, we hardly have pictures of us. So its a good one to cherish. Just to highlight that I hand stitched the boxes!! And the rest of the embellishments were a mix of Amy Tangerine, Crate Paper, MME & Studio Calico.
.

Alrighty, I better end this post. Have a blessed weekend.

Toodles.

Becoming Proverbs 31 girls

Hello Friends,

Yes another LO created on Sunday night, had this extra photo sitting on my desk and decided to scrap it.

What can I say, these beautiful girls are allowing me to journey with them, down the beautiful path of discipleship. Its not an easy road but I know it please my God, and He will give us strength for this journey.

Cheers to you beautiful girls. :)

Vintage at heart

...is what we are.

Hello Friends. How have you been?

I have been crazy wonky busy, working till 2am almost every morning, deadline after deadlines. I need my precious sleep.

We're stepping into advent on 1st Dec, and I need to find the time to savor this beautiful season, time to pause and appreciate the things around me, time to spend with my beautiful loved ones. I've been running around like a headless chicken, time to put all that to rest. I still think that December is coming too fast, but none the less, I am excited. :)

Just a little bit on the LO below. I used an Elle's studio sketch. Unfortunately I have been having some problems attaching pics to blogger. So here's the link to the sketch : http://ellesstudio.blogspot.com/2012/11/sketch-thursday-1122.html

Anybody facing the same problem?

So back to the LO, we just enjoyed our day walking down the old streets of Penang, eating, laughing, photographing, eating, celebrated Jas's birthday and more eating. LOL. I love this PP from pebbles, it reminds me of vintage wall paper and curtains. So cute! Have a great day peeps!!

Blessed Thursday!

xoxo
