Hello Peeps,

Today I'm happy to share with you my 'Moleskine' pen. Not sure what brand, coz its all written in Japanese, but its a 0.25 pen & oh goodness it writes soooo smoothly and it doesnt spread to the next page....i think it has something to do with the tip....

Thank you Josie for this perfect gift from Taiwan. I super love it!

Anybody has good suggestions for journalling pens?

Workspace Wednesday

Hello Friends,

Happy Midweek guys. We are coming to the end of March & that is super duper crazy fast.

3 months have passed in 2014, how has the year been?

Moving on to my attempt on blogging about 'Workspace Wednesdays', below is my washi basket, as you can tell its not at all coordinated. I just dig in and find whatever I want. LOL.

I know my collection is not massive but I do think I have a lot to last me for a life time. I have yet to finish a roll of washi. haha.

I still have space for new washis, maybe I wont feel guilty if I can justify it as filling the basket or space? ha ha. Oh what a hoarder mentality, blame it on crafting.....but seriously I have learned to hoard after I became a crafter.
Not good, not good.

Think I'm gonna add a new 2014 Goal: Use up all my stuff & no hoarding. LOL!

Side note: I'm at level 141 for frozen. Not sure why I'm still playing this game...hmmmmm...maybe I'm a gamer?

Wishing you a great day!

Project Life Updates

Back with the completed Week 11.

Another one page spread. Simple and no fuss.

I keep going back to my typewriter and sewing machine to complete my spreads.

I love this simple 3x4 filler card.  The pink just softens the whole spread & that gold heart is worth melting for.

Stamped 'This and that' on the sticker and sewed on it.

Finishing off with my typed journaling. Minimal embellishment : wood veneer, washi tape and a few stamping and vohla, week11 is completed.

There you go, week 11 completed and still so loving Project Life.

Have a great Tuesday. :)

On my Desk this Monday

Hello Friends,

Its Monday again!

Project life week 11 in progress.... Prepping some of the inserts. I shall attempt to complete it by tonight.

Giving Slim washi tapes a try. Hopefully I wont be addicted to them. Thanks to Josie who hauled them from Taiwan.

And a gift from a dear friend. A Dior blush pot, probably my second makeup item from them. My first was their Iconic mascara, let me tell you, I super adore that mascara. Try it if you may. :)

Its a happy Monday, I was kaput-ed by 11.30pm last night & woke up with a smile on my face. A good night sleep is so so important. Hope to get more rest this week.

Happy week 13! :)

So happy

....i got to craft & complete Project Life week 10.

Hooray! yea lets do the twist.

Again another simple spread, loving the minimalist approach to PL. I find that being minimal captures the essence of documenting much better than overcrowding the spreads with products and embellishments.

Well thats just my humble opinion. :) The best is to have your own style and be comfortable in it.

Im so loving that floral 3x4 insert from Maggie holmes, I love how it ties the stamp rack and the window frame together.

Still loving the 3x4 card... and the sequins pocket from the back.

And a lil arrow & heart to document how much I love my mini reorganization.

Desk view. :)

So happy to be sitting here after a long tiring week. TQ God for the gift of crafting.

Have a blessed Friday & weekend guys.

Signing in to blog-sphere

Hello to all. Since last Thursday it has been....

Wake up early
Sleep late
Entertaining guests
Planning
Eating
*Repeat

Entertaining guest is fun & tiring, maybe sometimes a lil too tiring, especially when you have a 9-5 job & serving in ministry. Being hospitable and opening our house to people has taught myself & Aaron a great deal of things. (good things :))

Homes are indeed a reflection of who we are & we are thankful to be able to share our lives with others.

I have been itching to make something crafty everytime I pass my craftroom, but the situation doesn't allow me to. Perhaps tomorrow night?

I'll leave you with this scrumptious looking dinner we had. So herb-y & yumm......Bah Kut Teh, you the bomb!

Have a great day my friends.

End of the working week again!

Yay! my heart rejoices when Friday comes. :)

But truly, most of my weekends are busier than weekdays, but I love them.

For the next 7 days, we have guest from Sarawak, they will be staying with us from Monday onwards....so I manage to squeeze in some time to complete Week 9 of Project life.

Here you go.

Week 9: A love story weekend. Btw, all the photos taken were from the same day. I absolutely do not mind at all.

Tried something different by filling up one of the pockets with sequins and wood veneer.

Close up on the embellishment pocket.

Loving this cute Epic button.

For this banner, I stuck it outside the pocket coz It was larger and I didnt want to cut the ends. Well it worked. :)

Thats all from Week 9, just a single spread but I enjoyed creating them so much. YAY! so fun.

Have a great weekend peeps. hugsss

Project Life Week 8

Back with some Project Life updates. :)

Simple Week 8:

Just documenting some random events and keeping the whole layout simple. I seem to notice a change in my style of PL-ing, whatever it is, I'm having a whole lot of fun documenting.

A Sneak for Week 9 :)

So simple and easy to create. I'm still so in love with Project Life.

Loving the look of typed journalling. In case you are wondering, born is passed tense, so there is no need to add -ed. LOL. well just FYI!

I'm almost done with week 9, hopefully can blog about it tomorrow. :)

11th March 2014

Yesterday was my dear husband's birthday. :)

He has been really busy in the last one month, working very hard, coming home late & leaving early for work. My heart sinks to see him so tired...but we gotta just pull through in the next 6 months.

I manage to take the day off from work to celebrate his birthday. Here's some photos from our lovely lunch.

Loving this picture of Aaron.
Our delicious meal in Hainanese style. My personal favorite was the fried chicken. So yummy!
And some shots of us at the restaurant/ boutique hotel. LOL.

For tea, we ended up in starbucks to redeem our free drink & a slice of cake. YAY! I just love spending time with him, we laugh at each other and basically we just chat non stop.

Dear Aaron, you are such a gift to me. I'm so glad we found each other and by the grace of God decided to spend the rest of our lives together. Thank you for everything you've done, really am grateful. May God bless your extremely 'huge' kind heart. This is our year of Victory & breakthroughs!

Love, love, love you with all my heart.

Happy Birthday my dearest chups!

Sneak Peak into my rearranged craftroom

Hello Hello.

Recently about a month back, we found out that our office room had water leakage on our terrazzo tiles, causing mold to grow on our wooden shelve unit. We threw almost everything that was infected by mold and cleaned the place up. Technically that left me with no choice but to rearranged & to purchase some items from Ikea. LOL. Cant complain about that right? *winks*

Since we live in a rented apartment, we have to be wise in purchasing any kind of furniture or storage. The most common question I'll ask is - Can I reuse this in my future home? If yes, then we dont mind spending a bit more...but if its a no, then we'll use budgeted items.

For example the shelves, pictured below. They are cheap. The hinges were RM2.30 per piece and the planks were RM6.90 or so. This is something I dont plan to take to my future home.

I replaced the previous rod with this, so that I can hang the metal baskets. Glad I found a place for my corner chomper & crop-a-dile.

The stamp rack was an impulse thing. I was very much attracted to the hot pink, and it was kinda cheap. LOL....and yes I have very few roller stamps, gotta have more!

Ahhh, the Expedit. Now this is an investment piece. I love everything about it, the size, the sturdiness and of cause the way it looks. I know very well that i'll be taking this to my future home. I heard that Ikea has discontinued their Expedit series and replacing it with another line, perhaps this will be collectors item??? hahahhaa.

Oh yes, and the hot pink swivel chair. I am so so please with it. I can now roll over to take items. haha.

So there a sneak peak into my 'not yet completed' space. :)

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

xoxo

Its the weekend.

Let the photo blogging begin...

Our Saturday lunch: The yummylicious banana leaf rice to fuel our 'clean the house' day.

Then for dinner we had Japanese food.

Meeting with the girls.

A fruitful time. :) Oh yes, Edmund & Aaron joined us later.

And on Sunday..
Our street food breakfast. Surprisingly it was a windy morning.

A quick OOTD with the morning face. haha

Spotted, this super cool green wall with a cute window. So adorable!! Would have been perfect for OOTD-ing if I spotted it earlier. :)

Mine was a tiring but happy weekend of drilling and rearranging my craftroom. Will include some photos in my next post. :)

Have a blessed Monday & week 11.

I got myself a Moleskine! It comes with stickers too, how cute is that?
I know, its a little late...3rd month into the year and I'm only getting a planner? Well better late than never right? Plus its 50% off, I couldn't resist such a good deal. hehe.

I am so excited to fill it up. Hooray!

Have a great weekend peeps! :)
