More pastel cards.

Hello Peeps,

Still having some lighting issues at home.

But here you go, two more simple cards.

Basically I just used scraps and sewed it, added a simple sentiment from my typewriter, some sequins & a wood veneer.

I may create more cards in this style so that I dont waste my scrap papers. :)

I think this is my favorite card. It looks prettier in person...really. Pastels and gold are match made in heaven. Loving how simple it is to create this card.

So maybe a prettier photo here eh? :)

And since it is wednesday, I'll just show you whats currently on my desk. Will be reorganizing my space this weekend. YAY! new look again.

Have a blessed Mid week!

Card ideas are kicking in...

BIG SMILES!!!!

Ya, I've been having some creative urges to create cards. LOL I kid you not. This time around, my taste has altered a little...i seem to want everything simple, like very little embellishments. Interesting isnt it?

Ok we are suffering from lack of natural lighting due to haze. Those living in Malaysia, drink loads of water & pack up on vitamin C.

Pastel colors for a change. :)

I love making birthday cards, coz they dont get wasted. A simple sentiment from my type writer.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sneak peak for another simple card...

Sushi making an appearance after a long hiatus. He's such a cutie & does his job well too. So proud of you. *winks*

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And on a side note. Cindy Lee gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby girl on Friday (28th Feb 2014). Lets welcome Annabell Kam! She's a beauty. Awwww
*Heart meltsss*

Smile, its a gonna be a great week!

Workspace Wednesday & PL spread

Aha, im back again. Trying to be consistent in my postings. :)

So week 7: Labelled as the 'love week'. Had a very simple valentine's lunch with Aaron, just a lot of talking and laughing, being thankful with what we have. I couldn't have asked for a better valentine.

Decided to break out 'Sushi' (my lil sewing machine) again. He was a gem!

Simple and straight forward, loving the peach & gray combo.

Whats on my desk this Wednesday?? This cute ceramic owl that is holding some of my essentials. I'm loving it.

So how's your table looking like?

With a clean space, I'm on a roll

Hello!!

Back with more PL spreads.

I completed Week5, spread2. Inspired by Cindy Lee to try a Clean & simple look, this is what I achieved.

I must totally admit that this style could work for me coz its no fuss, and super minimal on the embellishments. So its quite fast to put it all together.
YAY! happy girl.

As you can see, my typewriter skills is pretty horrid. LOL. I just cant seem to make it work, one hand holding the journal card and another typing....but not too bad right? at least I can read. haha.

Week 6 also completed. Just a single page spread. :)

Simple and to the point. Oh I love it. *melts*

Lets see if I have the time to complete week 7 tonight.

Have a blessed Day.

Its Monday Again....

Hello Friends,

Am back with another PL spread.

Week 5 was CNY or also known as Lunar New Year. I wanted to create a simple Layout but I also know that the color 'red' can be a little strong on the eyes, so I paired it with a lot of whites to give it breathing space.

The 3x4 filler cards are free downloads from Mei Li's Paperie. :)

So there. Completed Week 5 Spread1. Will be back tomorrow for Spread 2.

--------------------------------------------------------------
So a lil bit about my weekend. :)

On Saturday, i visited Cindy at her place, checking her out before she pops.
Some cute photos of her 2 yo, Abigail. She's adorbs. Cindy, if you are reading this, wishing you a safe delivery. hugsss.

And not photographed, I had dinner with Pam & KP at a thai restaurant. The food was super yummy and great company. We laughed and chatted till 11.40pm, always good times with these old friends. :)
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Sunday:

It was terribly HOT day.

OOTD-ed while having a quick lunch. LOL, I could barely look at the camera, yes even with the sunnies on. -_-

...............But its all worth it for this yummy Vietnamese meal. The ice coffee is out of this world. Just what I need on this melting Sunday.

Having my favorite bowl of Pho & Spring roll....yumsss, so healthy!

After lunch, we headed to a hypermarket to get new storage boxes. We have been attacked by 'Molds' on our terrazzo tiles in my craftroom...thats right of all places. *rolls eyes* I spent my whole Sunday afternoon throwing away boxes/shelves & temporary reorganizing my space. Maybe its a blessing in disguise coz now I'm checking Ikea Online for new office furnitures. LOL.

Oh well, was your weekend as dramatic as mine? hahaha

Toodles.

Am I developing a Skater Skirt obsession?

...hahaha....i think I am...

Last Saturday I OOTD-ed on Instagram with this cutest daisy Skater skirt from H&M. It is so super comfy & I think I'm in love with skater skirts.

I never took a liking to skater styles coz I always thought it was designed for petite looking girls, with a smaller tush & slimmer hip bone, boy was I wrong. Not too sure about other brands, but the ones in H&M fitted me like a glove. Hooray!!!

Can I tell you that I literally cant get enough of this mustard cardi. I so want to wear it with everything...i think its obvious from my Instagram?! hah!

This polka dot jumper is sooo cute...but I wasn't too sure if the price suited me. What do you think of skirt no.2?

I'm secretly in love with the grey piece. Its grey!! everything looks pretty in grey. haha. While I do think skirt no.2 is more flattering, but im more attracted to the grey. Hmmmm.....

Perhaps when in doubt, we just buy all?? hahahha.

Anyways, work is ending in 5 mins. :) Goodbye friends!

La la la...its midweek!

Hello Peeps.

I somehow feel like I'm still on holiday, just that my assignment deadline is getting closer. Come on Sharon, stop dreaming. Arghhh....reality bites!

On the other hand, I seem to be quite pumped to complete my project life. Due to my tight schedule this week, I could only squeeze in very little time before bed. *yawns*, now you know why I'm dreaming off? haha.

Anyways, coming on to week 4, it was one of those 'lazy to photograph' kinda week....so I decided to just go with the instagram pockets...and boy did I have fun putting it together. Scroll down...

 Week 4 Spread 1:
Josie, Cindy and I met up for lunch before Chinese New year. :)

Oh yes and the last photo was taken by Lucas (Josie's 2 year old). We sure had a good laugh at this talented boy....seriously he was over the moon to help us capture our moment. hahahah. So cute!

Week 4 Spread 2: Just a few more capture on my simple weekend. & thats a wrap my friends.

---------------------------------------------------------

Today on Instagram: Breakfast made by the Mr. (so neatly packaged right?) Such a sweetheart, he made my morning smile. :)

Have a bloomingly great day.

Project Life Week 3

Hello Crafty Peeps.

Am back from being too lazy to blog. *winks*

Finally cleaned my table to prevent my brains from having a creative block. :)

Apologize for the non flattering pictures, darn the glare.

Anyways here is week 3 Spread 1: I only documented my Grandpa's bday this week. I was so thrilled that Grandpa turns 87, he is such a blessing to all of us.
At 87:
he drives (quite a hardcore driver at times haha),
he shops (yes he loves the mall, hi5 grandpa!),
he's a prayer group leader,
he jokes,
he's so alert,
he loves my Grandma's cooking,
he feeds the stray cats & wild birds outside his house (almost like a mini zoo)
he's a big fan of Jesus. (YAY! :) )

Such a blessing to have this Man of God as my grandpa. I pray that you will have many many many more years on this earth.

Week 3 spread 2: More photos...

Finally used my Heidi swap 'Family' stamp. The size is just perfect!

And and ...I created a LO. I love how personalized this LO is, but yet safe enough to share with others. Please ignore the paint splatters, i totally got carried away. hahaha.

2014, I believe you will be an awesome year.
I believe you will be a victorious year.

Thats all from me on this Tuesday. Have a great week ahead.

A little sneak peek on my desk

Good morning.

I'm excited to share my sneak peek for my new LO. I still have quite a bit of finishing touches but the idea & the base is there.

Sure hope I have time to complete it tonight, after our late night marketing for CNY (yes, its the eve of the eve...so our local wet markets are opened till midnight).

Its CNY week and look at our weather status. 24? Wow, so happy its breezy & windy. I am most certain i'll enjoy CNY more this year. Gonna pray hard it stays this way. :)

Have a great midweek friends. :)

Been craving for fresh greens

So not complaining about this craving. Big YAY!

oh yes, I've been having broccoli cravings for the last couple of months. I just cant get enough of it. LOL. Hey no complains over something healthy & high in fiber right.

I made a simple pasta dish for dinner last night, with lots of garlic & chili flakes, more like broccoli Olio eh? hehehe

It tasted so fresh & yummy. Mmmmm. Love it.

Can you see how gorgeous this pan of pasta looks?? I still have left overs, happy girl. :)

So whats been cooking in your kitchen lately?

Project life week 2

Hello Peeps.

Celebrating 4 years of married life on 9th Jan 2014. What an interesting journey it has been. Come to think of it, I have grown so much after being a wife. Patience & endurance, and relying on God for supernatural strength & wisdom.....of coz I dont always rely on Him, there were many days I relied on my own strength and failed miserably....but He is always merciful & ever ready to help me when I call. Thank you God for watching over us. :)

This year, we decided to take a 3D 2N break to Camerons, like YAY! finally a chillaxing trip. It was colder than usual & rainy, but non the less a fun, do nothing kinda weekend, except to eat, talk & chill.

So happy 4th Anniversary to us. :)

Spread 1: All the photos on this page was taken by my iphone.

Spread 2: Decided to let the photos do the talking. Colors are a tad bit saturated here, think Aaron's computer screen is going off.

We spent like 3 - 4 hrs in Boh. Fresh cool air with a magnificent view, just being wow-ed over and over again by how awesome God is. It was perfect to spend time with the maker on our little getaway.

Glad we manage to take this trip, celebrating our love. :)

Proud Moment, Completed week 1. Yay!

PL ball is rolling baybeh!! *winks*

So glad the Mr. pushed me into documenting 2014. I am forever grateful. Another year of awesomeness! Cheers.

Week 1: only a one page spread but definitely pictures overloaded. Well it deserves to be coz we had so much fun. Joachim & Helena stayed over for 2 nights and we really enjoyed their company.

So there you go, a lot of pictures from Interactive Museum.

For my filler page after the title page, I thought I'll fill it with our latest family photos. It was an impromptu, spur of the moment kinda shots. I just decided after dinner that we should all take a family photo with self timer. So there you go, meet the Cornelius family.

I wanted to keep it simple, quite heavy on the photos. I like the family quote. it says "Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten". So true right?

Anyways thats all from me now.

10,000 Reasons

Sometimes all it takes is to slot in a little break to shift our focus back to what matters.

Yesterday I had a bit of diarrhea (6 times) & my stomach feels bloated causing me to have constant nausea. Technically I was working from my bed whole of Monday. Perhaps I'm physically tired, we have been on the go for the last few months, one after another. I tend to forget to get enough rest until my body forces me, & when that happens I'm usually flat out.

Its 5pm now. Listening to Kim Walker Smith's version of 10,000 reason.

It is true, I literally have that many reasons to thank Him. Only January, and I'm wondering if we're at a crossroads again? Although crossroads is often referred to as something non positive, I'm beginning to see a different side of it. When at crossroads........I believe its a time for me to trust, I believe its a time to start 'Believing' that my new season is very near, maybe its just at the end of the tunnel. I believe it is a season to Hope, I believe it is a time to have Faith in the unseen.

Crossroads = Exploring new territory (if we believe & allow Him to take us thru this journey). Quite beautiful eh? I am convinced.

And in this moment of wondering where is this all going? I will Bless the Lord.

In moments of feeling lost, I will Worship His holy name.

In moments of feeling alone, I will sing like never before, O my soul.

In moments of feeling like i've fallen into the darkest pit, Still my soul will sing Your praise unending.

Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find.

---------------------------------------------------------

Signing off,
Sharon

Another year of Project Life, a fresh start.

Oh wow, a 3 months hiatus from my previous post....yikes.

Anyways I'm back!! I have decided to Project life for 2014 again, with much encouragement from Aaron, seriously he is like my biggest supporter to document our weekly progress. I know, I know so blessed right? *smiles*

Just a few days ago, I flipped thru my 2013 PL album, showing a friend how the year went by, she was amazed at how time flies. I must say 2013 was a beautiful year, truly a year of Faith... I know it sounds strange, but I didn't quite want 2013 to end.

Can we all agree that relationships are fragile? Actions, reactions not thought out properly can lead to serious damage, its like wreaking a beautiful garden. What took years or months to build can be damaged in a twinkle of an eye. More often that not these gardens will not look the same anymore. (Sad aint it)

Speaking the truth always has a price to pay, that includes with the possibility of putting yourself on the line to be snubbed. Now, that is one risk I know many will not take. But I'm wired differently, black is black & white is white, to me grey lines are blurred lines

One of my favorite Speaker & writer, Bill Hybels wrote "Being someone's spiritual brother or sister also means warning them of potential pitfalls in their lives - sometimes even before they themselves see trouble on the horizon." One of the biggest deception I've heard is, "people need to fall to experience it"
I say its complete Bullshit (pardon my language). I believe God has place people in our lives to learn from, not to make the same mistakes so that we can advance in life and Not to be trap in the same cycle. Very skewed mentality.

Today I tweeted a quote from my other favorite Speaker, Lisa Bevere. "I'd rather speak & be labelled judgmental by others than remain silent & be judged a goat by God. Faith, hope, love & Righteousness have a voice." I love this woman, so true isn't it? hahahhaa. The word 'judging' is so wrongly use, the minute we say

"You are judging me!", you are also judging the person whom you referred to as judging you. Now isn't that ironic? Its like the pot calling the kettle black kinda situation. LOL...

Fuyoh, sounds like my post is getting darn serious. I'm just sharing some of my thoughts....oooo how I've missed blogging. :)

In essence, good relationships or friendships are hard to come by, Feel good friends do not stay very long...genuine friends who will cry, go thru fire with you & be completely truthful are worth keeping. Cherish them k?! :)

Moving on, Im proud to say 2014 title page is completed. YAY!!

Aha, a very simple page - completely fuss free. Midnight collection on my first page. *happy girl*, and just a simple mobile photo.

....and jeng jeng jeng, my first LO for 2014. Ever since Aaron started being behind the lens, we hardly have pictures of us. So its a good one to cherish. Just to highlight that I hand stitched the boxes!! And the rest of the embellishments were a mix of Amy Tangerine, Crate Paper, MME & Studio Calico.
.

Alrighty, I better end this post. Have a blessed weekend.

Toodles.

A non PL related post.

hahahhaa....what a funny header to blog.

But its true, finally a non PL related post. Poor blog has been neglected all because of my busy schedule.

Leading a dance team, choreographing, teaching is challenging but yet rewarding at the same time. Its pure joy to totally embrace my passion & calling. There is something so freeing about dancing, it expresses from deep within, speaking from one's soul....man that is powerful. Thank you God for this beautiful gift.

So back to my daily life. I try to cook every now & then.....the Mr. loves home cooked, even if its a simple dish. So made this soba dish last night.
Took the recipe from here: http://www.abeautifulmess.com/2013/10/sweet-and-spicy-soba-noodles.html
Plus a simple clear soup to accompany the soba. :)

An early birthday gift from mom. Yes she signed me up as a member too... LOL. She loves good shoes, handbags and facial products....oh what a cute mom I have.

I guess I'll continue blogging what my Sunday looks like...
We went for a quick lunch @ Bangkok Lane, then it was to paragon...

 Latte Break @ Coffee Elements.

Really yummy Caramel Latte. The cake tasted terrible though, but would definitely go back for the Latte's. :)
Bump into this little cutie in H&M, those eyes....so mesmerizing. Abby was really friendly with Aunty Sharon, I love kids who responds to people...just makes them more adorable, dont you think?

We dropped by church after Tea, our friends were painting/preparing proclamation banners for the Closing of the Year of faith. Can you tell its gorgeous? 100% handmade & hand painted. Love!

I guess thats all from me now. I shall attempt to blog more non PL related stuff. :) I have missed you blogging world.

xoxo
